Algenol Biofuels has just opened the doors of its new state-of-the-art lab, less than an hour from both Port La Belle and North Port. The company hopes that the lab opening will make Florida “a hub for green, clean technology innovation that will create jobs, lessen our dependence on foreign oil and reduce carbon pollution.” This is very exciting news for the entire area.
